Diecutting
Diecutting is a method for punching or cutting out any special shapes into paper or light card by using a metal form that is called a die. It can be used for making a decorative pattern or more functional objectives, such as producing a pocket folder or a ‘do not disturb’ hotel door sign.
Shown below are examples of a Christmas card with a diecut “snowflake’’ and a “do not disturb’’ sign.
